Good to know

Concerts come with admission

A general admission ticket gets you into the concerts and grandstand events on the day you use it.

Rides are separate

Admission doesn’t include the carnival rides, and a ride band doesn’t include admission.

Check heights first

Every rider has to be at least 36 inches tall, and if your child is under 48 inches, look over each ride’s height rules before you buy a band.

Kids 6 and under get in free

They still need a ride band or ride tickets and coupons to ride.

Closing time moves

The fair usually closes around 11pm, but crowds, concerts, the grandstand schedule and the weather can keep it open later or close it earlier.

Leave pets at home

Pets aren’t allowed on the fairgrounds.

Parking

Parking is free

Park in the East Gate, West Gate or Main Gate lot at no charge, and every lot has handicap parking. On Bike Night, motorcycles with a track parking ticket ride in through the West Gate.
